About Simon Galfe
Welcome to my website. I have been classically trained on the the piano since the age of seven. Based in the South-East I am one of the leading suppliers of piano music for weddings, Bollywood weddings and private events across the UK.
My career highlights
My career highlights have been playing for The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Edinburgh.

I have frequented as a pianist many of London’s leading venues including The Shard, Claridges, Intercontinental, The Dorchester, Harrods, The Savoy, 34 Mayfair, Oxford & Cambridge Club and The Waldorf Hilton. I was the Christmas Day pianist for The Savoy in 2022.
I have also been a Piano Guest Entertainer on the world’s most luxurious cruise ships including The Queen Mary 2, The Queen Victoria and The Queen Elizabeth 2.
As a Jazz Pianist, I was a leader of The Simon Galfe Jazz Trio on The QM2 which performed on board with the Juilliard School of Music for famous clientele such as John Prescott and James Taylor.
I have a BA Hons degree in music and I am a fully qualified teacher with QTS.
My extensive repertoire
My repertoire includes music in every style suitable for any event or occasion. I know over 1,000 songs by memory as I play by ear and I am constantly expanding my music library with new additions. My classical training is combined with a modern touch.
An exclusive touch
To add exclusivity to your event I have a unique white with gold trim portable piano shell. This has an authentic sloping lid and it looks like a baby grand piano. It’s a luxurious, wedding-esq addition to my performance.
A professional service
I use top-of-the-line musical equipment and instruments, including Yamaha, Nord, Korg and Fender. I am very organised, professional and all my equipment is PAT tested. I am a full-time member of the Musicians Union, 5-star rated On Encore Musicians and I have public liability insurance.
